Children's Ministry

A Strong Foundation

The goal of our Children’s Ministry is to assist parents in discipling & training their children in the LORD and to build them upon the strong foundation of God’s Word, so that they may glorify God & enjoy Him forever.

During Service

Children of all ages are welcome in our Sunday church service! We do not mind if your little one makes noise or needs your attention! We also provide a room for nursing mothers.

Nursery is provided for ages birth to three years old for the entire Sunday service. In our nursery, our youngest attendees are held, sung to, and prayed over. Our toddlers are given time for free play, singing, a short Bible lesson, and a craft or coloring page.

Sunday School Catechism

Sunday mornings at 9:45 AM, children (and their parents are welcome to join them!) are taught through a catechism. A catechism is a teaching tool presented in a question/answer format that has been used by the church over the ages. While utilizing a catechism is still popular in many Protestant denominations, it is relatively uncommon in Baptist circles. But Baptists have a proud tradition of the use of the catechism and the great Baptist preacher C.H. Spurgeon crafted one for his church that we model ours after.

Just because the use of catechisms is old doesn't mean it can't be fun. We make sure the children enjoy themselves as they learn. And we do encourage parents to learn by the side of their children so that they, in turn, can continue to talk about the truths discussed at home. If you, as a parent, feel ill-equipped to discuss the Bible with your children, then this class will be as much of a help to you as it is to your kids!

Contact us for when the next catechism class will begin.

Your child’s safety is our utmost concern. Our volunteers operate in teams. All of our volunteers have passed background checks performed by a third party agency.
